Task 10: Commenting other blogs...

Imagen
Hello everybody! As you already know, the role of journalist not only requires telling the story of the week, but also  commenting other blogs that are interesting for us. One of these blogs belongs to the group of “Universal Teachers”. We have written a comment on it  because during all this course they have done a wonderful work. Besides, their posts have been very  useful for us, since they are very complete and full of details. Moreover, I am going to comment a blog that inspired and helped us to do this task. It was because,  from my point of view, it's a blog with a lot of variation. We can find different important things about  education, and also ,it's really visual. Moreover, all the concepts are explained very well. It also shows different methods in which students can learn in diverse and easy ways and this is really  important So, here you have the link of the blog   https://organizedclassroom.com/inferencing-fun/#comment-1588   just in case

Task 10: Translator

Hi everybody!! I’m Natalia and, this week, I am the translator. It is the second time I am the translator of my group,  but I also know that I’ll never be the translator again because... this is the last task! It is so sad to know that, but, well... I don’t want to be too sentimental so... Let’s start! As it is our last task, we had to relate the main things we have learned according to complexities,  connections… I could define the same concepts that we once defined, but it does not make much sense, so I’ll try to  define new concepts: Firstly, we could start defining what learning organization is. It is the organization where people are  ever-learners with shared commitment and objectives of continuous change and learning together. It  is a place where the beliefs, values and norms are supported to sustain learning. There, they give a  great importance to a “learning atmosphere”, “learning culture” or “learning climate”; and “learning to  learn” gets an essen

Task 10: Reflection

Hi there!  My name is Irene, and I am this week's analyst. For that reason I will reflect on the task of this week:  Schools Organized, Schools that Learn. First, we would like to highlight one of the best parts of doing this activity has been discovering by  ourselves how we have improved, not only in English, but also in terms of creativity and in looking for  different resources when we have problems. Moreover, we have also appreciated a huge difference  taking into account the amount of knowledge we had at the beginning of the semester, and the one we  have now. That is why we really enjoyed carrying out this activity, since we realized we knew more  things that we first thought. On the other hand, as we perfectly knew the format we had to use for wednesday presentation, we  found its creation much easier and relaxed. We guess that is the main reason why we enjoyed it that  much! Bearing in mind the least interesting parts of doing activities like this task i

Hi everyone! How is it going? We are Ana and Ángela, and we are the stars of task 10: Schools that learn! Well... once t he presentation has been carried out, we would like to tell you some points related to it: To begin with, we must say we were pretty nervous before wednesday's performance. We really wanted to do it perfectly so as to clearly show our knowledge and creativity.  However, despite the fact that our nerves were on edge, everything went like clockwork!!! :) Here you have two pictures of Wednesday morning: We were also aware of the fact that it was the lask task of the course, so, we knew the big responsability we had! Besides, we, as Lovely Teacher's representatives, would like to put into words our melancholy because of the end of this amazing course. We also want to express our gratitude to Linda for having introduced us into SOYER world. It has been an authentic pleasure. Thank you very much for having read us each week. We wish you al

Task 9: Journalist

Hi everyone!!!!!! How are you, guys?  I’m Elena, this week’s journalist and, as a consequence of this, I’m going to explain what we have done during this week: As every week, Linda, our teacher, posted the instructions of the task on the LMS, so we started to read them. This week the task was about Leadership styles … First of all, we had to read some information about the four basic leadership styles. You may not know the types of leaderships there are, so, I will explain a little the four that exist and their meaning: - Authoritarian leadership style : having control, planning everything, lack of flexibility and, above all, following a protocol. Giving little importance to emotions, human problems… The leader makes his/her own decisions without taking into account other people’s opinion. - Participative leadership style : respect is very important. It is about collaboration with everybody and also the creation of a family atmosphere. - Transactional leadership style : it ha
